In a similar vein to the article, 5 must-visit UK circuits in 2026, we wanted to identify 5 UK events to have on your radar in 2026. You may not get to them all, but these are the ones that look like stars among those around them.
We will also note that these events come in all shapes and sizes and involve varying degrees of marshalling. Some people will absolutely love it, and others will loathe it, but that is the absolute beauty of this list. There is a bit of something for everyone.
The racing at an event never truly defines how good it is to marshal. We have heard marshals who don’t like the British Grand Prix because there is too much standing around, often quoting “It is a one-day meeting stretched over three.” Whereas others simply cannot get enough of the buzz, the excitement and the big stage they are on.
We could go into every nook and cranny when it comes to what makes a perfect event, but the short of it is the people you are with and what you make of it.
Putting all the waffle aside, though, let’s dive into it.
5 UK Events To Have on Your Radar
There will be varying levels in this, and we have omitted the British Grand Prix because of its application process. Within this list, we wanted the highest percentage of the marshalling population to be able to attend these events.
1. GT World Challenge Europe – Brands Hatch
With Brands Hatch celebrating its 100th year of action, it was difficult to pick one championship or series that stands out for us from this circuit. Thankfully, we have managed to and it is a great one.
We could have picked from Trucks, Touring Cars, GTs and more, but we had to pick GT World Challenge Europe. The international event returns to Brands Hatch as part of their Centenary of Power year of celebration, and what’s not to love about GT cars thundering around one of the UK’s most iconic circuits?
To add to that, this event marks 30 years since the first-ever SRO-run international GT event at the circuit in 1996. Certainly, one to have earmarked on your calendar.

Event Name: GT World Challenge Europe
2. EnduroKA 24hrs – Trac Mon, Anglesey
From one end of the spectrum to another, but please, before you skip down, hear us out on this one.
The EnduroKA Championship seems to have a reputation, or a tag that it isn’t to be taken seriously and is a bit boring. We can safely deny that and push it more towards the opposite. Having attended the 5-hour EnduroKA event at Oulton Park last year, we were pleasantly surprised by how good the racing was and the action that followed.
So, why the 24-hour race?
Firstly, when I have spoken to other marshals about the race, they have had nothing but great things to say about it. A 24-hour race offers a unique challenge to the marshals as well as the drivers and teams, and if you have never done an endurance race of this length before we highly recommend it.
Secondly, it is at Anglesey circuit, if you haven’t read our blog 5 must-visit UK circuits in 2026 please do. If you have read it, you will know this is one of the circuits that we recommended to visit this year. It could be a great one to tick off.

Event Name: Ynys Mon 24
3. Ginetta G-Fest – Croft
Do you like Ginettas? Whatever your answer, you know exactly what you are getting with this race meeting. Ginettas.
Don’t let this single make the race meeting put you off. A few years back, we attended the Ginetta Fest meeting on Anglesey, and it was a great amount of fun. There was a lot of action, and the marshals were well received by the organising clubs and the racers.
Ginettas are becoming the go-to place to start your racing career, and it has helped massively that Lando Norris has won the F1 World Championship after starting in the Ginetta Juniors. So, while you are marshalling, you may even see an F1 champion of the future.
To add to the racing, this event is held at Croft Circuit in Dalton-on-Tees in North Yorkshire, this flat and fast track always throws up some excitement and if you can’t get along to marshal this event, we would recommend a visit to this circuit.

Event Name: Ginetta G-Fest
4. British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC) – Donington Park
How do you describe the British Truck Racing Championship? Mental is probably one word, carnage another, but as a source of entertainment, it is right up there with the absolute best. There are many circuits on their calendar that we could have picked; Brands Hatch, Pembrey, Snetterton or Thruxton, but the one that we wanted to give a special mention to is Donington Park.
When the BTRC rolls into Donington Park, it ceases to be just a championship, but becomes a show – Convoy in the Park.
The racing goes up to 11, the crows go up to 11, and with the arrival of the International Trucks (pending confirmation), the sensation of the trucks goes up to 11. This really is a race meeting that you have to attend, even if it is just once in your life.
Speaking of 11. Both Stuart Oliver and Ryan Smith will be locking horns for another season to see who can be the first driver to win 11 British Truck Racing Championships.
Yes, we know marshalling is very hands-off at these meetings, but don’t let that deter you from attending a race meeting like no other. There are plenty of support races there as well, so you get to do some traditional marshalling.

Event Name: Convoy In The Park – British Truck Racing Championship
European Le Mans Series (ELMS) – Silverstone
This is one that you probably expected to see here; if not, then you have surprised us. The European Le Mans Series – 4 hours of Silverstone was well received last year. In the absence of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) since 2019, Silverstone has been missing a high-level, high-calibre race series.
Yes, it does host the Grand Prix, MotoGP, British GTs, and Touring Cars, but we felt it needed a large international series that anyone could access.
ELMS – 4 hours of Silverstone fits the bill perfectly.
If you didn’t attend last year, you can watch the event highlights below and see one of the reasons we recommend it.
There is something about top-end international endurance racing that hits different; they often feel like 4 to 24-hour sprint races. It is absolutely relentless, and if you are flagging for that meeting, you better believe that by the end of it you will be physically and mentally worn out.
Another reason is that international endurance racing is unlike any other, and we hope that our love and enthusiasm for this event will persuade the WEC organisers to bring the series back to our shores. Then we can have a combined ELMS and WEC weekend – wouldn’t that be something?
